Upon the shoulders, the symbols of Venus and Mars are held within hearts: Venus joined with the downward triangle of Water, representing receptivity, beauty and grace; Mars joined with the upward triangle of Fire, representing courage, strength and passion. Together, they represent the sacred polarity that allows love to remain both alive and balanced.
