Across cultures, the serpent has endured as one of humanity’s most powerful symbols, shedding its skin, renewing itself and emerging transformed.

The Kundalini Ring brings that ancient symbolism to the hand through a serpent that coils three times around the finger, inspired by the concept of Kundalini: the dormant spiritual energy traditionally envisioned as a coiled serpent waiting to rise.

Its raised head and open gaze represent awareness rather than aggression, remaining awake to what surrounds you and what moves within you. Its textured scales mark the journey itself: experiences accumulated, skins shed and lessons carried forward.

The original design grew from a deeply personal encounter during a journey to Uluru, with respect and acknowledgement to the Anangu people as Traditional Custodians of the land. The experience became part of the inspiration for a piece exploring the universal symbolism of the serpent without claiming ownership of Anangu stories.

Another influence is Ophiuchus, the Serpent Bearer, an ancient constellation positioned along the Sun’s apparent path through the sky and historically depicted as a figure holding a serpent. It adds another layer of healing, hidden knowledge and our enduring relationship with serpent symbolism.

The Kundalini Ring is ultimately a talisman for periods of awakening and transformation.
