The Garden of Eden represents one of humanity’s oldest questions: what happens when we choose to know?

Inspired by the ancient story of Adam and Eve, this highly symbolic pendant explores the journey from innocence into knowledge, experience and ultimately wisdom.

At its centre stands the Tree of Knowledge, entwined by the spiral serpent.

The Tree represents knowledge and awakening.
The Serpent represents transformation and the repeating lessons of life.
Adam and Eve represent humanity at the threshold between innocence and awareness.
And the falling fig leaf marks the moment consciousness begins to see itself.

Around them is an entire garden of symbols:

The Lotus represents rising through difficulty into wisdom.
The Bees represent devotion and sacred work.
The Ankh represents eternal life.
The Pinecone represents higher consciousness.
And the Algiz Rune represents protection.

Along the border, the Eye of Ra, Star of David, Vesica Piscis, Key, Butterfly, Dove, Lamb and Deer explore protection, transformation, peace, innocence and the meeting of heaven and earth.

The Gates of Eden are slightly open, suggesting that the way back was never completely closed.

Beyond them stands the Spiral Tree of Eternal Life, while the Flaming Swords represent refinement, the Eyes of Horus and Ra represent watchful protection, and the Cherubim guard the mysteries beyond the threshold.

The Ouroboros and keyhole represent the eternal cycle of death and rebirth, and the possibility that the key we seek has always been within us.

Even the bail continues the story: a falling leaf for release and a scarab for rebirth.
